Strickland Campaign Statement on Trump's Anti-Semitism & Portman

Today, Strickland Campaign Spokesman David Bergstein issued the following statement in response to Trump's use of anti-semitic imagery:

"Senator Portman's silence in the face of Trump's anti-semitism and his decision to continue backing Trump's campaign is frankly a reminder of a darker time for the Jewish people. It is also a reminder that Senator Portman is the kind of Washington insider and spineless politician who puts his own calculated political interests ahead of what is right for Ohio. Senator Portman should denounce the use of this offensive image immediately -- and he should listen to those like Governor Kasich and other prominent Ohio Republicans and retract his endorsement of Trump."

Strickland has previously called on Portman to retract his endorsement of Trump.
